Did you know that the month of May has been designated as Mental Health Awareness Month?

Here at SFI, we work to educate and advocate for all people with disabilities, and that includes a wide range of so-called “invisible disabilities,” like mental illness.

Our staff has many years of experience dealing with our own mental health issues, including depression, bipolar, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. We understand the stigma attached to mental illness, and we know how much it means to be understood instead of judged. We also know what it’s like to work everyday towards good mental health, making careful decisions to support our mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Our core services, including Information & Referral and Peer Support, include people with all disabilities. If we can help, give us a call at (336) 767-7060.
